This page is for trusted Android testers and game hosts. Internal Testing is still active while the Google Play Closed Testing release waits for approval and links. Players should use the Google Play internal test link first. Hosts can also grab the Windows Host package when they run the game from a laptop.
Create profile
Log in, set your player name, pick a language, and make sure your profile behaves.
Redeem code
Redeem your tester access code in the app or player portal, then check My Access / DLC to make sure the unlock landed.
Report bugs
Use the in-app bug button first, then post extra notes in Discord if the bug deserves public shame.

Install the panic rectangle.
Current release candidates: Android Beta Phase 45D.1A / v4514 and Windows Host Phase 45D.3. Google Play testing is the preferred Android install path. The APK is available as a backup, and the Windows Host package is for testers hosting from a laptop or desktop.

Windows Host
Host from a laptop. Keep the chaos contained.
The Windows Host is for testers who are running the game session. Players still install the Android app, then join by scanning the QR code shown by the host.
Windows host quick start
- Download the Windows Host ZIP.
- Right-click the ZIP and choose Extract All.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Run OopsYoureDeadHost.exe.
- Create a game and choose the mode, timer, player cap, and play zone.
- Explain the boundary rule: players get a screen warning near the edge, and players outside the zone have 30 seconds to get back in before they are booted from the round.
- Show the join QR code to Android players.
- Keep the host running until the game is finished.
Windows warning notes
- Windows may show a SmartScreen warning during beta because the app is new.
- Only run host files downloaded from the official Oops, You're Dead website.
- Do not move files out of the extracted folder.
- Use the Windows Host guide if setup gets weird.

Bug reports
Make the bug reproducible, not legendary.
Use the in-app bug report button whenever possible. Discord is best for extra notes, group testing context, and follow-up questions.

Want to test it before it becomes respectable?
For now, tester access is handled through invite links, tester codes, Discord, and direct email requests. The closed-test release has been submitted, but Internal Testing remains the active path until Google gives us the next door to kick open.
Tester rules
Do not become a headline.
- Big play is welcome: parks, campuses, event sites, neighborhood routes, or several city blocks can work when the host explains the boundaries clearly.
- Cross roads only at designated crosswalks or legal crossings, and only when it is safe.
- Keep your eyes up for cars, bikes, scooters, pedestrians, pets, curbs, and obstacles. Stop somewhere safe before looking at the phone.
- Respect private property, businesses, transit stops, crowds, and anyone who did not sign up for your nonsense.
- Stay out of dangerous areas like busy roads, parking lots, water, cliffs, construction, restricted areas, and other obvious villain traps.
- Report weird behavior with mode, host type, phone model, and what happened right before the weird part.
