1. What this agreement covers
These terms cover your use of the Oops, You're Dead! Android app, Windows Host, website/player portal, beta downloads, tester codes, game modes, profile features, and related services.
Legal // safety first
Oops, You're Dead! is a real-world movement game. The most important rule is simple: the game is never worth getting hurt, trespassing, scaring bystanders, or making unsafe choices.
Beta terms
Last updated: July 2026. This page is a plain-language beta EULA/terms page for Oops, You're Dead! and Nexus Worlds. Version: 2026-07-phase39c2b.
By using Oops, You're Dead!, you agree to play only in areas where the host has set clear boundaries and players can move legally and safely. Stop playing immediately if the area, weather, traffic, people nearby, or your own condition makes play unsafe.
These terms cover your use of the Oops, You're Dead! Android app, Windows Host, website/player portal, beta downloads, tester codes, game modes, profile features, and related services.
The beta may contain bugs, crashes, missing features, balance problems, test data, and temporary systems. We may change, reset, disable, or remove beta features, codes, entitlements, stats, trophies, game history, and downloads while testing.
You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app and host tools for testing and playing Oops, You're Dead! You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or abuse the app, host package, services, or beta downloads.
You are responsible for your account, display name, profile, and activity. Use a player name and avatar that are respectful and safe for other testers. Do not impersonate people, harass players, or use offensive names.
The game uses location during active gameplay so radar, objectives, bases, flags, ghosts, zombies, extraction items, and boundaries can work. Game information may be delayed, approximate, inaccurate, or unavailable. Never use the app as a safety, navigation, emergency, or supervision tool.
If you host a game, choose a sensible play zone, get permission where needed, set appropriate player limits and duration, explain boundaries, legal crossings, off-limits areas, and safe stop points, watch for hazards, and stop the game if people are acting unsafely. A host screen is not a substitute for supervision, site permission, traffic awareness, or common sense.
Tester codes, beta access, DLC flags, themes, entitlements, and other unlocks may be changed, revoked, corrected, or reset if they are issued by mistake, abused, duplicated, or affected by a bug. Future paid features may have separate purchase terms through the app store.
When you submit bug reports, screenshots, videos, logs, crash details, or feedback, you give us permission to use that material to test, debug, improve, support, and document the game. Do not submit private information, unsafe content, or media of people who did not agree to be included.
Do not cheat, spoof location, abuse bugs, attack the service, scrape data, interfere with other players, bypass access controls, share private tester codes publicly, or attempt to access admin or private systems.
Discord and other community spaces are separate services with their own rules. Keep banter playful. Do not harass, threaten, shame, dox, or post personal information, exact private locations, or media of people without consent.
We may update, pause, discontinue, or limit parts of the app, host tools, website, beta downloads, or online services. During beta, some features may be available only to invited testers or specific builds.
Oops, You're Dead! is a real-world movement game. You understand that walking, running, chasing, scanning, looking at a phone, and playing near roads, sidewalks, parks, campuses, event sites, crowds, curbs, stairs, pets, bikes, scooters, vehicles, and other real-world hazards can involve risk. You choose whether, where, and how to play, and you are responsible for your own movement, attention, surroundings, and decisions.
The app is provided as-is during beta. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Nexus Worlds, Oops, You're Dead!, and related testers, hosts, contributors, and service providers are not responsible for injuries, collisions, falls, traffic incidents, property damage, trespass, unsafe routes, host-selected play zones, distracted play, or choices made by players or bystanders. The game is entertainment software, not a safety, navigation, emergency, traffic, supervision, or hazard-warning system.
You agree not to rely on the app while moving through unsafe areas. Stop somewhere safe before checking the screen, scanning codes, reading radar, using capture buttons, or responding to alerts. If playing safely is not possible, stop playing.
